Visitors from the Past
This composition represents my introduction to Adobe Photoshop and serves as an exploration of both its creative and technical possibilities. For this project, I set out to challenge myself by pushing the boundaries of what I could achieve within the program. I began by restoring an old photograph of a group of people and integrating it into a new visual context. From there, I wanted to give these people a new identity, so I decided to give them a sort of.. facelift. and I made them all, well, me… Jokes aside, this process proved to be more technically complex than anticipated and took a while to achieve. To unify the piece, I developed a narrative in which these versions of me have time-traveled into the future, bringing artifacts from the past with them, allowing me to combine restoration, manipulation, and storytelling into a cohesive and concept-driven design.
