Who am i?
Hi, I’m Cameron McGee, a 22-year-old undergraduate Graphic Design student at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. I’m passionate about exploring new ways to bring personality, creativity, and thoughtful design into my work as I continue developing my style as a designer.
Outside of design, I enjoy snowboarding, fishing, playing guitar, and spending time with friends and family. These interests often inspire my creative perspective and influence the way I approach visual storytelling.

my style
My design style is rooted in bold expression and visual energy, where color and personality are essential, and not optional. I’m drawn to bright, striking palettes and stylized forms that immediately capture attention and create a sense of excitement. I don’t aim to follow safe or predictable design conventions, but instead lean into originality, balancing playful experimentation with thoughtful composition. I want my work to feel engaging and alive, often blending a sense of familiarity with a fresh, modern edge. At the end of the day, I believe design should leave a lasting impression, and when given the choice, I’ll always choose to be bold.
